OUR proposal STORY
Although Travis and Anna chose the engagement ring together, she had no idea when he would ask the big question. They were still living apart, too – Anna in IL and Travis in MD – so Anna knew it would happen a weekend they were together…just not which one.
Travis was in town for MLK weekend and on Saturday morning, Anna suggested going for a run and then doing a resistance band workout. While Travis does not love running, he knows Anna does and will sometimes go with her – so he said he would go for a short one. After their run, Anna went to take off her running vest and when she turned around there was Travis with the ring. What he said next is between them, just know it was perfect. As Anna’s eyes welled up, Travis got down on one knee and asked her to marry him. Clearly, she said yes…she also told him “no take backs” and let him off the hook for the resistance band workout.
In addition to the following registries, we’d really like cash to put towards our honeymoon and purchasing a house (next year). We haven’t set-up a specific fund yet.
